There really isn't so much to do in Korea other than go to Fortresses and Temples. These shots were taken at the Hwaseong Fortress that is a world heritage site. Kind of depressing but it was built to honour a king whose son was murdered by a neighbouring king. This is the gory part - they buried him alive in a coffin filled with rice!

Oh, how awful! The fortress is beautiful though. I really like these men's uniforms. I am so jealous you have such an amazing place to explore, so full of color and patterns!

Every time I open your blog for some reason that song makes me smile. Great shots. I like the b/w with through the doorway.There is always great shopping. Have you been to Lotte World? Thats always fun.
