White is the new black

I am working on a unit with my grade 5 students entitled - White is the new black. We are looking and painting techniques and fun stuff like that. Anyway, it got me thinking about white and the white images I have shot in the last 6 months. Then I noticed the colour challenge for February was white, so I figured this post will be all about white.

I thought that pink was the new black ;)
Love the white hydrangea- where did you take that? Assuming either Singapore or Oz?

For some reason I only thought sea gulls were over here! I am so glad other people have to deal with them too. Beautiful shots Donnah...I always feel so happy when you are posting on POTD!

These are so cool, I love the way the white contrasts with the red in that first shot!
