It is still freezing here in China and we spent the weekend in Harbin - Harbin is the ice capital, it is famous for its ice sculptures - I will post those tomorrow.
The photos today are just some shots of the ice and how cold it really is there.
These other two shots are from the ice swimming - crazy or brave, I am not sure, but these men swim in the icy water every day. I need to add here that I had 4 layers on, followed by a coat, 2 scarves and a hat and was still freezing! They need to have footwear on so they don't stick to the ice.

Okay...I am going to say crazy, but I do remember swimming in the ocean water in March in Maine, and it felt really amazing, so...I bet there must be something good about it, although you wouldn't catch me doing it now!

Oh my GOODNESS... those dudes are crazy!!! My dad did an ice swim with the Polar Bear Club one time (ONE TIME) when he went to Alaska with the military. He said never again!!! LOL
