I know I am jumping countries, but I am sick of editing my Korea shots. We took a mission trip to Nepal last October. It was the first mission trip my girls have been on. Anyway I have finally got around to editing my images. Here are a few shots I have been working on today.

So very interesting. Such differences then what I see on a daily basis. I'm sure it's just amazingly normal while you are there.
Wow Donnah...these are just unreal. I love that you have gotten to visit so many places. I always feel like I am going on an adventure whenever I visit your blog.
It's so nice to see these pictures of far aways place that I might never get to see - love the people's pictures!
These are great. I would love to be able to see these places firsthand, but I will live through your pictures because they are beautiful.
You do a great job capturing the culture of other lands. I especially love the first one here!
I love seeing images like this...
"Far Off Lands".... nice
I am so jealous of you right now! Nepal is like my DREAM vacation... I have heard it is SO amazingly beautiful!
I love your shots, they are so REAL!
I LOVE these, they're amazing! Each one has something just fabulous about it!
The other night, I went to an international festival at the university near me and they had booths from 70+ counties. Each booth had native food and there were people from each country too to talk to. My absolute favorite food was this warm potato curry (I think) dish from Nepal, it had some sort of grainy sauce on it too. Oh my gosh, it was divine! Your photos reminded me of that. Now I need to try to find out what that was! :)
so coOL!
i would love to take my girls on a mission trip once they are teenagers!
how do you go about doing that?!
tara
these are really cool! it's nice to see another part of the world.
That first one is super...would love to see it in a really moody BnW to show off the lines in the face. I love the PJ style these have.
Oh, I hope you post more photos from this mission trip! You have such an eye for composition, and these are so interesting!
These are fabulous...Love seeing shots of such a different place and culture than I see every day. I really love the composition of the first one.
What an opportunity to photograph these different cultures and sceneries. These shots are so wonderful!
Very cool!
